FIRST Research School

I have been attending the ZULU sommerbio for a couple of years now, and really enjoy this (free) event.

It is important (and fun ;-) to organize some social events for you hardworking PhD students every now and then, so here is an invitation for one:

On Thursday the 26th of August, ZULU sommerbio will be showing the "Inglorious Basterds" movie at Søndermarken Copenhagen at 20:45 (sundown).

To precede the showing of the movie I would propose we hold a little dinner together, starting at 19:00. Originally the plan was to grill, but that's not allowed at Søndermarken.

We will meet at Søndermarken, and you should bring:

- food ;-) Anything you would like to eat, that does not require warming up (pizza, take away food etc)

- something to drink during dinner (wine, beer?)

- something to drink/eat during the movie (I usually bring a thermos with tea or coffee, it can get a bit chilly once the sun goes down)

- a blanket to sit on (you could also bring one of those small festival/beach chairs

- some warmer clothes (as I said, it can get chilly after sun down)

The event will only take place if the weather is good as its not so much fun to barbeque and see a movie outdoors when its pooring down..... An email will be sent a couple of days before the event to inform registrants if it will take place.

Ps. I know a real good Indian and Sushi take away (resonably  near my place and would be more than willing to bring something for people who live far away from Copenhagen or who would like to try out Indian or Sushi. Let me know if you're interested and I will send you a menu. I would appreciate very much though if people who wish to use this offer could bring the money for their food on the 26th since I have two kidz to feed ;-)
